On this website, we review hotels and apartments in Rhodes and offer deals with a whole host of operators from holiday giants such as Thomson and Thomas Cook to Greek specialists like Olympic and Libra.

Rhodes Town

Rhodes Town is a fantastic choice for all types of holiday. First, you’ll benefit from a short transfer from the airport, then you have excellent shopping, restaurants and nightlife to sample. Whether you stay in Rhodes Town or not, Rhodes Town is well worth a day trip. The old town of Rhodes is quite something, amazingly well preserved, this ancient walled city has narrow cobbled streets with interesting shops and restaurants. Best of all though it is a real living city, not Disneyfied.

Away from the old town you have got the new town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. You will find Rhodes Town bar street more international than Faliraki for example, with a Scandinavian bar, and an Aussie sports bar run by a Greek Aboriginal.  If you want a no-frills hotel in a central location then Hotel Alexia is a great choice, and for better facilities try The Ibiscus or Belvedere. For a five star in Rhodes Town consider the Mitsis Grand or have a look at a hotel in Ixia such as The Rodian Amathus Beach.

Lindos

Lindos is the ancient capital of Rhodes and home to the iconic Acropolis of Rhodes. One of the most photographed parts of Greece, Lindos is one of the most popular areas to take holidays in Rhodes and appeals to all types of holiday maker. The only thing that might put people off a trip to Lindos is the long transfer from Rhodes airport.

Traffic free Lindos Village is very well preserved with those famous white washed buildings, but it’s not just the village that is beautiful, the natural surroundings are stunning too. Lindos is situated on a bay with the white houses reaching up the hill to The Acropolis. Equally stunning are views from The Lindos Mare Hotel, an excellent four star hotel set on the clifftop. Whether you stay in Lindos, nearby Pefkos or Lardos or elsewhere on the island of Rhodes be sure to take a trip to Lindos and don’t forget your camera.

Faliraki

Faliraki is blessed with one of the best beaches in Rhodes, and is home to the biggest water park in Europe. Renowned for it’s bustling nightlife Faliraki is not a choice for an authentic Greek holiday but does offer some great value for money and a lot of fun.

Faliraki offers the most varied international dining options on Rhodes, all tailor made for Brits – Chinese, Indian, Greek and Fish & Chips are all available.

Away from the action, Kalithea near Faliraki offers the same great beach and some high quality, larger hotels.

Kolymbia

Kolymbia is a small, sleepy village with some large hotels on the nice sandy beach and surrounded by hills. Kolymbia is situated between Lindos and Rhodes Town so day trips are easily manageable.

Kolymbia is home to two Atlantica hotels: The Thomson Gold Atlantica Imperial and The All Inclusive Atlantica Aegean Blue. The Atlantica Imperial is couples only, no children and offers high service levels. The Aegaen Blue is again highly rated and new from 2004, and offers a wide range of sports and a generous All Inclusive package.

Ixia

Ixia has some of the best hotels in Rhodes and benefits from a short transfer from Rhodes airport, and being close to Rhodes Town. There is a wide range of beach water-sports available but the winds and shingle beach mean young children are better catered for around the pool at your Ixia hotel or at another Rhodes resort such as Kalithea.

The Rodian Amathus Beach is a popular choice for a five star Ixia hotel – perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary.

Pefkos

Pefkos, close to Lardos and Lindos features a sandy slim beach backed by pine trees and is a classic Greek resort that keeps British sunseekers coming back year after year. A real favourite with families thanks to the friendly restaurants all used to serving children. In the surrounding area you’ll find olive trees and lemon groves and hear the crickets chirp. Classic Rhodes holidays.

The Pefki Islands Resort is a very well run accommodation with spacious apartments.

Lardos

Lardos, Rhodes is one of the best destinations in Rhodes for a relaxing holiday in a village setting. An attractive village square with some nice tavernas is the centre point and features an Italian fountain with natural spring water.

The beach is an excellent option for snorkelling. When looking at Lardos hotels check the location as the village is 2 km inland from the beach so it depends whether you prefer pool or beach life which location will suit you best. For a luxurious option in Lardos look no further than the Lindian Village Hotel.

Trianda

Trianda, near to Ixia offers a relaxed resort setting and a good base as it’s close to Rhodes Town and within walking distance of Ixia. Trianda, sometimes known as Trianta, is a bit of  a mecca for windsurfing fans but be aware that the beach is shingle not sand so not for everyone. Some great hotels in Trianda include The Atlantica Princess Resort, The Sun Beach Resort & The Electra Palace.

Trianda has an attractive old town set back from the modern resort which includes an ancient Byzantine monastery and where you can sometimes catch a market or local festival.
